About the Author

Jeremy Maddock is a freelance writer, webmaster, and legal researcher based primarily in Victoria, British Columbia.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Victoria and has provided legal research support to several law firms over the past four years. Charter Cases.com is best described as a personal academic project designed to assist Canadians in understanding their Charter and common law rights.

Jeremy is currently enrolled at Thompson Rivers Law School in Kamloops, British Columbia. He remains actively involved in various cases regarding the Charter and individual rights, and regularly appears in court to assist counsel.
